From four til past 5 I stayed at the upper portion of Princes Bridge, and yet you must have passed unobserved by me.

I feel much indebted for the interest you evince in the new work of the garden, and I hope, that at some leisure day, perhaps some Saturday afternoon or holyday, you and your Lady will allow me the privilege to conduct you over the ground.
