10/4/69.
Let me know, dear Mr Pascoe, what you require for planting your municipal Ground this year, in order that your supply may be early secured.
1
There had been correspondence earlier in the year about plants for Echuca; see M to C. Pascoe, 16 February 1869. M to C. Pascoe, 28 April 1869 (in this edition as 69-04-28b) lists the plants supplied.
I suppose you have ground trenched already & holes sunk for the trees. I was so sorry, that your great and disinterested exertions to obtain the young Cods did not prove successful. Neverthless I feel deeply obliged for the prompt & energetic manner in which you acted
With best regards
Ferd. von Mueller
