[On behalf of Mr F. Von Mueller, M. Ramel presents a collection of the seeds of , a plant that is destined to render the greatest services in the Algerian Sahara, where it will develop rapidly. It provides a kind of gum arabic; Its bark is of very good quality for tanning and is today imported, in immense quantities, into England for that industry.
