Would you oblige me, dear Dr Hooker, by giving me the locality of the two s , inserted into your Indo-Australian list in the introduction to the Flora of Tasmania.
1
J. Hooker (1860), in 'Introductory Essay' pp. xlii-xlix, also published separately as J. Hooker (1859a).
They are omitted in the Flora Australiensis, it seems by accident.
2
See M to G. Bentham 21 August 1865, and G. Bentham to M, 19 November 1865.
It appears I have one now.
3
s is marked in the margin with a cross.
MS annotation in pencil by D. Oliver: 'One of these S. nervosum ( Intrd Essay 43) is Dysoxylon latifolium of Bentham. The other we cannot trace (S. Indicum). | No is in Herb [of] Australia.'
MS annotation in ink by D. Oliver: '"Areliacea" Rockingham Bay probably a brimys | [illegible word] capsular fruits. "Rutaceae?" | Think not. ?Hamamelideae'
Your regardful
Ferd von Mueller
