I have the honor, by direction of the Committee of the above Society, to append a
copy of the Advertisement convening the Annual Meeting of Subscribers on Wednesday
next, the 29th inst., and to request the favor of your attendance on that occasion.

"Horticultural Society of Victoria. — The Annual General Meeting of the Subscribers will be held in the Mechanics' Institute,
Collins-street, on Wednesday, the 29th July, at Two o'clock p.m., to receive the Report
of the Committee and to elect Officers for the ensuing year, in accordance with Rule
9. — John Toon, Hon. Sec." — (Argus, 22nd July, 1868.)
Should you be desirous of obtaining any grafts from the Society's Garden this season,
application must be sent in before the 31st inst. They will be ready for distribution
on and after the 15th August.
