MS written by Ernst Heyne and signed by M.
Dear Sir
When planting the willow cuttings on the Melbourne side of the Yarra
I had to employ a boatman from time to time to bring the cuttings across; for his
services I have paid £1.5.0. for which a/c I hold a receipt. Have you not got some
Incidental Vote available to which this sum could be charged. When planting the bank
above the bathing house (which is being done now) the same service ought I should
think be performed gratuitously by the keeper of the establishment.
