it is addressed to the Trustees will you kindly reply to it stating that owing to the state of the Society's funds in consequence of the non receipt of the Government grant the Society is not able to afford any money in repairing the roads in the Royal Park. The Council [will] gladly avail themselves of the cooperation of the Borough Council of Brunswick to solicit a portion of the grant for the improvement of parks when that grant is about to be distributed.
