B67.02.07. M's gift, on behalf of the Victorian Government, was acknowledged in Report of the Royal Society of Tasmania (1868), p. 65. The work still exists in the Royal Society of Tasmania Library and bears two inscriptions. The first is by M: 'Societati regiae Tasmanicae haecce fragmina aedificii florae Australianae systematici offert scriptor' '(The author offers to the Royal Society of Tasmania these fragments of the systematic structure of The Australian flora'). The second inscription is probably by Agnew: 'Recd. 19/8/67'.
