Adverting to the notification in the Government Gazette of the 27th ultimo,

The notice announced the appointment of M, the Surveyor General (Charles Ligar), the Assistant Commissioner of Lands and Survey (Clement Hodgkinson), the Inspector General of Public Works (William Wardell), the Secretary of Mines (Robert Brough Smyth), and the Chief Mining Surveyor (Thomas Couchman) to a Board of Inquiry regarding the State Forests of Victoria.
