for a short time) I have in accordance with his desire, the honor of remitting pr. "Essex" a small case containing 2 rare Victorian ground Orchids and a few other interesting plants.

The entry in the Kew inwards book 1859-67 (RBG Kew, Kewensia) for 19 November 1867, p. 448, suggests that one of the orchid species sent, Thelymitra concolor[?], arrived dead but that T. macmillanii and the other plants arrived alive.
