Sir,
On behalf of the Council, I beg to render you grateful thanks for your kind donation
of plants for the Reserve.

See T. Haynes to M, 6 May 1867 and 6 June 1867 (in this edition as 67-06-06c).
I fear there will not be quite sufficient to plant the whole land trenched, and will
either avail myself of your offer of a further supply of Pines, or let the remainder
of the land lay over to next season, by which time we shall have the centre beds trenched
& shall be disposed further to trespass on your kindness
I have the honor to be
Sir
Your much obliged & obedient Servant
Thos Haynes
