Dr. Mueller desires us to state that he would feel indebted to any friend of the Gardens sending prepared specimens of any of the birds to be met with around Melbourne, for the formation of a small cabinet near the Palm House, in order that visitors of the gardens may obtain there an opportunity of inspecting any of the 140 species which, migratorily, periodically or stationarily, visit the gardens.
