Letter not found. The text given here is from 'Ornamentation of reserves' in a report of the meeting of the Geelong Town Council held on 30 April 1867 (Geelong advertiser, 1 May 1867, p. 2). At the meeting of the Council on 9 May 1867, replies from both Bunce and M agreeing to give plants for this purpose were read (Geelong advertiser, 10 May 1867, p. 3) (letters not found).
[The Mayor, calling attention to the fact that the season for planting trees and shrubs was rapidly approaching, and that they could now be procured from Mr Bunce and Dr Mueller, suggested that the town clerk be instructed to make application to both these gentlemen for a supply.
A resolution in accordance with this suggestion was adopted.]
