The requisition was transferred to the Crown Lands office on 21 May 1867. Responsibility for the Botanic Gardens vote had been recently transferred to the Crown Lands Department; see M to J. Grant, 6 April 1867 and notes thereto. The fate of the requisition thereafter is not known, but it was presumably approved.
