I rejoyce to inform you, dear Professor, that I received in good order the case with fine plants you so kindly caused to be forwarded by the "Great Britain" Pray let me mention, that the Owners if asked will send such consignments for the benefit of our departments gratuitously. In this instance, no prearrangement being made, I had to pay £5/18/8 for this one box!! Now at the return of this noble Ship Mess. Bright,
