Correspondent not further identified. No evidence of a specimen at MEL collected by 'N. Peter' was found in AVH (accessed 18 April 2023), thus no reliable date can be assigned on this basis. The item is dated to 1867 as the last date before M became 'von Mueller', but this assumes that the writer would have known of the significance of the change.
