Dear Mueller
Smith came to tell me that he omitted to send the by last mail accidentally. As they are dormant it is not of much consequence, they shall go by next.
I hope the seed will grow it is quite ripe & good.
Thanks for the seeds which are always useful.
We have a vast number of trees & shrubs growing for you but few herbaceous plants. The small is doing well. We want some bigger kinds.

Orchids fetch such high prices that we do not get good stocks given us but we are corresponding for West Indian kinds to send you.
Let me know if you want Mesembryanthema, Cacti, s, s, Cape Bulbs & other succulents; we have just now a skilful propagator of these things & it is well to take advantage of this.
