Melbourne bot. Garden
7/5/66
Sir
I have the honor to request from your Worship permission, that the approach to the
southern extremity of the new foot bridge across the Yarra at the botanic Garden may
be made along the base of Anderson's Street.
The approach will terminate at the lawn part of the rise of that street & will establish
a transit across the Yarra even during a flood as high or higher than the last great
inundation.
I have the honor to be, Your Worships very obedient
Ferd. Mueller.
His Worship the Mayor of Melbourne
