Letter not found. The text given here is from the report of the meeting of the Heathcote Hospital Committee held on 8 May 1866 (McIvor times and Rodney advertiser , 11 May 1866, p. 3).
[A letter was read from Dr. Mueller, stating that the committee could have an assortment of trees, shrubs, cuttings, seeds, &c., from the Botanic Gardens.]

The report continued 'Messrs. Crowle, Lawson, and Von-der Luft were appointed a sub-committee to see what is wanted, and make arrangements for obtaining and planting any trees, &c., which it may be deemed desirous to procure.'
