I am much obliged for your letter of to day

me that persons are in the habit of [shooting in] the Yarra Park and destroying the [ducks on the] lagoons. I have at once written to the Chief Commissioner of Police asking that persons so offending may be arrested.

I have also given directions for the [...] best possible enforcement of the provisions of the Dog Act.
In respect to the planting of willows along the river bank I believe that instructions upon the subject are to be given to Mr Hyndman the gardener employed under the Corporation.
