editorial addition.
Sir
I have the honor by direction of the Council of the Acclimatisation Society to hand
you herewith copies of various letters &c &c which were yesterday placed before the
Council and to request that you will be good enough to take an early opportunity of
bringing them under the notice of the Trustees of the Royal Park.
I have further the honor by direction of Dr Black
to inform you that the Council will meet next Tuesday at the Park and to suggest
that the Trustees should be invited to take that opportunity for inspecting the present
condition of the place.
