I have the honor to enclose a code of bye laws for the management of the Royal Park proposed by the Council of the Acclimatisation Society, and to request by direction of the Council that you will be good enough to lay these bye laws before the Trustees and then if sanctioned by the Trustees I have the honor further to request that the rules may be transmitted to the Board of Land & Works for the purpose of obtaining the seal of the Board and the subsequent power to [prosecute] against persons infringing the bye laws.

Bye laws for the management of the Royal Park
(approved of by the Council of the Acclimatisation Society)
No vehicles bearing name or number or containing any merchandize will be allowed to pass through this reserve excepting such as may be going direct to the Acclimatisation Society's garden, the Powder magazine or the Experimental farm.
No riding or driving will be allowed either on the footpaths or on the grass.
The breaking in, training, or exercising of horses are forbidden within the reserve.
All persons bringing dogs into the reserve are cautioned that they do so at their own risk, as poisoned meat is laid down in order to ensure the safety of the deer and other animals.
Any dog found annoying the cattle or other animals within the reserve will be destroyed and the owner of the animal held responsible for any damage that may have been committed.
The discharge of firearms or the kindling of fires within the reserve will not be allowed

No person will be allowed to sell or offer for sale any articles of merchandize without permission having first been obtained.
