for transmission to institutions, with which the botanic Garden of Melbourne maintains interchanges. I beg further to recommend that of the plan accompanying the report & of the print explanatory of the same one thousand extra copies for sale may be provided at the Gov Printing Office before the lithographic drawing on the stone is destroyed.

Approval for M's request was minuted to this letter and referred to the Government Printer. The plan was issued as a separate publication (B65.10.10), listing in the sheet 165 species in the 'Index of eminently valuable, conspicuous or rare plants specially numbered on the plan'; the 'Key to the orders of plants represented in the class ground' has 92 locations.
