M went to Kilmore, Vic, to deliver a lecture in support of the efforts of the 'ladies of Kilmore' to raise funds for the Ladies' Leichhardt Search Expedition (Kilmore free press and Counties of Bourke and Dalhousie advertiser, 17 August 1865, p. 3, which prints the text of the lecture, B65.08.02).
