Referring to your memorandum dated the 24th instant,

relative to the requisition recently forwarded to you, through the Honorable the Chief Secretary,

C. Hodgkinson to M, 30 May 1865? However, no willows were specified in this requisition.
for some plants for a new enclosure in Albert Park, I have the honor to inform you that the plantation of the enclosure in question is undertaken this year by the Board of Land & Works at the special request of many of the inhabitants of St Kilda, and I shall therefore be glad if you will cause at least a portion of the Pines required to be supplied of a greater age than one year.
I beg to point out that in your memorandum you do not state whether the willows specified in the requisition will be supplied.
