The item appeared in number of newspapers—see, for example, B65.06.14—and was summarized in others, for example, Ballarat star, 27 June 1865, p. 2.
The members of the Leichhardt search expedition, who are not already with the leader, Mr M'Intyre, on the Darling River, will assemble at Glengower,

the estate of Donald Campbell, Esq., by the end of this week, and almost immediately proceed from thence with the dromedaries and horses, and the equipment of the expedition to Mount Murchison,

where the whole party will collect. Mr Donald Campbell, the uncle of Mr M'Intyre, has, within the last few days, been zealously engaged in completing the arrangements for the expedition, in Melbourne. For the long and gratuitous keep of the dromedaries we are indebted to Messrs Samuel and Charles Wilson, of the Wimmera.

It is to be hoped that the ladies, in their exertions to raise the remaining sum of the fund for meeting the expenditure likely to arise from a probably long protracted search, will be handsomely met by the generous among our fellow-colonists.
