[In the report of the Planting Committee it was recommended "that tenders should be invited for trenching and laying out the garden reserve at the corner of Park and Cecil streets; and that, upon completion of the work, the reserve sown with grass seed, and application be made to Dr. Mueller for a supply of suitable young trees for planting".]
