I have been directed by the Trustees of the Royal Park to inform you for communication to the council of the Acclimation Society, that the following rules

The file copy has the following reference to the minutes of the Trustees' meeting noted in parentheses at this point: 'vide page 135, with the exception of the words "and permanent" after the words "under the exclusive" in the fourth line of the first rule'. See A345 Royal Park Trustees minute book, pp. 134-7, Mitchell Library, State Library of New South Wales, Sydney. The regulations were published in Victoria Government Gazette , no. 111, 28 October 1864, p. 2408 . They contained no provisons for enforcement of the regulations that applied to visitors.
have been adopted for the management of the Royal Park and that these regulations have received the approval of the Board of Land and Works.
