Dear Mr Fitzgibbon,
I intended to have waited on you to day but missed you.
The execution of the contract for renewal of the fences on the northern ground of
the botanic Garden is absolutely at a standing still in consequence of my not yet
having received permission to use yours.
As the season is so fast advancing I should be extremely glad to effect the improvement
next week. Could you kindly give me a decisive answer to morrow?
