An album of photographs presented to Neumayer at the time of his departure from Melbourne is in the Neumayer-Archiv, Museum für Naturkunde, Bad Dürkheim. It includes a copy of the photograph of M published in R. Pescott (1982), p. 34.
as a small token of remembrance, and to ask for yours for my collection of great contemporaries who are my friends.
