Sir
I have the honor to inform you, that at a Meeting of the Trustees of the Royal Park
held yesterday the following Resolution was carried.
"That it will be notified to Government, that the Trustees offer no objection to the
erection of the Powder Magazine at the South West corner of the Royal Park as suggested
by the Board appointed by the Government to select the site, but would leave the final
decision on this point to the Government. In the event of the Government deciding
to erect it there, the Trustees would suggest, that the approach to the Magazine be
enclosed by fencing and the site be planted out."
