My dear Miss Euphemia,
I went on Thursday morning to the Garden bridge, on the Yarra and waited from 10 til
½ past 10, but as you did not come I anticipated that you must have been prevented
to visit the Gardens, as on the two former occasions, when I waited for you about
an hour each time. I walked then over to my deer park,
where the deer were just to be caught for liberation and searched for you afterwards
through the gardens from 11 to 12.

In the so-called Richmond Paddock on the north side of the Yarra River.
I need scarcely assure you, that I shall gladly attend on you on Tuesday say at 10
in the morning, but should unforeseen circumstances prevent me from being at the bridge,
I will ask Mr Heyne to conduct you around.
With sincere regards
yours
Ferd. Mueller.
