Folio 125 is bound with the page bearing the valediction at its foot as the front of the folio; the transcription begins with the 'back' of the folio. The content indicates that Bentham was the addressee; it is dated to between 21 November 1863, the date the box per Result was sent, and 12 December 1863; it was probably written after 24 November, see fn 5.

and the Case No. 19 others shall follow, so that there will be always sufficient material available for you. Please bear in mind, that grows also on the Gulf of Carpentaria. I found it at the sandstone table land of Limmen Bight & M'Arthur River; its flowers are fragrant. I have seen fully 100' high, with a stem 5' in diameter. It is the largest of all Melaleucae, altho M. squarrosa becomes occasionally but not frequently nearly as high

it had escaped my remembrance, that this plant occurs also on the Nicholson, Flinders & Gilbert River, as I notice now in my diary.
