My dear Prof Decaisne,
Since a long time I have been most anxious to avail myself of your unequalled knowledge
of Asclepiadeae, to have those of my herbarium named and described. If your manyfold
duties not require all your precious time and you can afford the necessary leisure
for the purpose and you feel sufficient attraction in the review, I will be most happy
to send you my
normal
collection of Asclepiadeae, of which you may retain all the duplicates, if you will
be so kind to restore the main set to our Governments Herbarium. The collection is
not unconsiderable and will probably acquire yet some additions from N. E. Australia, where a collector of our establishment
is stationed.

John Dallachy.
With kind regards
dear Sir,
yours
Ferd. Mueller.
