Sir
I am directed by Mr Sumner to inform you that he & Dr Black
inspected the roads in the Park yesterday and are of the opinion that a few loads
of gravel should at once be put on them and if you will consent they will instruct
Mr Purchas with the order. By informing me of your consent Mr Sumner thought that
it would obviate the necessity of a formal meeting.
