I must beg of you to arrange kindly that the most scrupulous care is taken in the remission of the specimens, in order that as far as we can control it any loss is avoided and no chasm may break into the material of the Flora of Victoria

No further volumes of M’s Flora of Victoria were ever published.
It is my intention to send pr Monarch at the beginning of next month the rest of the & by the Norfolk in the midst of September the material for the small families, which Mr Bentham intends to incorporate in vol II. I was much pleased with the illustration of in the Bot Mag.

By the Yorkshire in the beginning of this month I forwarded case N. 14 with e. By the Roxburgh Castle N. 17 end of June also e, by the Anglesey in the beginning of June case N. 12 with e. I should regard it a great favor if you would cause some of my empty Wardian cases at Kew to be refilled. I have of late had little of interest for my two conservatories from home, and am anxious to show from time to time important novelties to satisfy public interest.
