Dear Sir William
By the "Roxburgh Castle", which ship conveys this letter I forwarded (as mentioned
by overland mail)
a case with
for President
Bentham to you. The case contains also some parcels of dry plants from Mr Whan to
Prof Dickie,
which I would be thankful if delivered to the order of the latter Gentleman. They
comprise nothing that is not already well represented in your herbarium, as I have
persuaded myself [when] naming the plants.
