Dear Mr Tulk.
During my short stay in Melbourne I had not leisure enough to acknowledge the receipt
of the 3 vol. of the Novara Exped.,
which I found at my house when returning from the Snowy mountains, and for the transmission
of which I owe you my best thanks. Sir Redmond Barry was so friendly to send me the
Library Catalogue & Exhibition Essays
through your hand most elegantly bound.

Pray give Sir Redmond on his return my kindest regard & inform him, that I shall wait
on him & bring the volume in which the plant dedicated to him has been inserted.
Mr President Bentham has introduced the plant also into the 1 vol of the Australian
Flora
now under the press in London.
