In reply to your note dated 13th January,
which I received on my return from the Alps of Gippsland, I have much pleasure to
inform you that the use of the Botanical Gardens for the Autumnal exhibition of the
Victorian Gardens Society
will be readily concurred on the day mentioned in your letter, viz 7th March proxima
and that every facility in my power will be afforded to the Society for furthering
their objects on the occasion
