Dear Sir
I duly received your two last letters,
and indeed I feel thankful to you for the honour which you have done me in naming
a plant after me.
Since I wrote you last I have carefully examined the Cypress Trees. I think the large
tree I mentioned growing close to where I got the seed I sent you I think thay are
both the one kind I now send you a small quantity of that seed I could not procure
more as I had to scramble up the tree to get them been no blacks here and not liking
the ["]
School
Boy" to leave here without sending you some I also send you a branch the same and
a
Box
of plants by the "School Boy"
