Sir,
I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated the 6th Augt,
and in reply thereto, I have the honor to inform you that the Board of Land and Works
have acceded to your proposal with reference to the retention of the services of Mr
Gulliver, the cottage in the reserve on which he is engaged being placed at his disposal,
and also authorize you to make any arrangements you may deem expedient, with reference
to the disposal of the "Cape Weed" now growing on that reserve.
