In reply to your letter, dated August 13th, I have the honor to inform you, that the Trustees of the Royal Park at a meeting held on the 14th inst have desired me to issue the necessary instructions to Mr W. Smith the Superinten. of the zoological garden to act as Ranger for the Royal Park and to empower him to prosecute any person infringing on the Rules established by the Trustees of the Park, and I have further been directed to submit Mr Smith's instructions on this subject for approval to the Government and for subsequent publication in the Gov. Gazette.
