I have nearly completed an enumeration of all the plants collected by Stuart on his journey through Central Australia. It contains no diagnoses, which are published in my fragmenta, but gives an idea of the interior vegetation. The list not being very extensive, I intend to send it to you, as it may be of interest to the Edinburgh bot. Society & perhaps worthy of publication.

Apparently not published in the Transactions of the Botanical Society of Edinburgh, but 'Enumeration of the plants collected during Mr. J. McD. Stuart's expeditions across the Australian continent in 1860,1861 and 1862’ was published as part of M’s Annual Report to the Victorian Government (B63.05.01), pp. 11-15.
