could be subscribed for in this colony, and I beg therefore to ask, whether not perhaps the Library might be enriched by this work. I would beg to recommend it to your friendly consideration, in as much as manifold relations exist between the ornithology of India & this country and thus such a work as Mr Jerdons would be of importance to the Australian Student.
The price of this publication appears to me moderate.
