[Mr. P. Ramel writes to the President on 18 July informing him that Dr. Mueller, by
a letter of 24 May, informing him that the large collection of Luxembourg vines sent
by our Society to the Melbourne Acclimatisation Society per
LincoInshire
, has arrived in fairly good condition so that the greater part has already recovered.
This letter contains a printed list of the considerable collection of animals currently
gathered at the Botanical and Zoological Garden of Melbourne.]
