I beg to recommend to the Committee of the Warnambool botanic Garden, that the Gardener of the establishment may be allowed to visit the bot Garden of Melbourne, by which means such plants, as are available for distribution might be selected by him.

The Council agreed unanimously to send their gardener, C. Scoborio, to the Melbourne Botanic Gardens to select plants etc. for the local garden (Minute book 5, p. 51; Warrnambool examiner, 30 May 1862, p. 2).
