I have the honor to inform you in reply to your communication of the 16. April,
that the Council of the Acclimation Society is prepared to forward to the botanic
& zoologic Garden of Adelaide at present the following animals

The Council expresses simultaneously a wish, that the zoological Collections under
their surveillance may be supplemented from South Australia, whenever a favorable
opportunity for such a purpose presents itself, by the following there indigenous
animals:
the Phascolomys latifrons (or Ph. Hilairü)
