My dear Professor.
I have much pleasure in informing you, that through the excellent Consul Mons. Truy
I have forwarded to you and to
few of your colleagues the 1 vol of "the plants indigenous to Victoria". Under favor
of Mons. Camille Duquoy, who sailed a few days ago on "Marco Polo" I have forwarded a few dried plants (most I fear only duplicates of former
collections) and 224
sp of fresh collected seeds. If I find time I will send by this mail some notes on Cucurbitaceae
& some dried plants for M. Naudin.

See M's second letter of this date to Decaisne (62-04-24).
I will bear the requirement of seeds of timber trees for Algeria in mind.
Ever most regardfully
dear Prof Decaisne
