Letter written into the minutes of a meeting of the Society held on 14 April 1862.
I have to acknowledge on behalf of the above Society,
the receipt of your new work entitled "Plants Indigenous to Victoria"
— the volume was laid before the meeting of the Society held last evening & I am instructed
to convey to you the sincere & hearty thanks of the Society for your kindness & liberality
in presenting this valuable & handsome work
