Dear Sir.
I have to crave your pardon for having not before this acknowledged your kind donation of dried plants, which were most welcome & have been inserted in the fascicles of our Museum.
Allow me to mention, that it is important (in order to avoid mistakes as to the adscription of localities) that specimens for the herbarium should in all instances be labelled by the collector himself, whose handwriting is the best guarantee for the correctness of the assignation.
If I can be of any use to you, command unhesitatingly my services.
Regardfully
yours
Ferd Mueller
